MORE than 1 billion people will celebrate the start of Chinese New Year this Saturday, 25 January 2020. Customs practiced leading up to and during the 15-day period, known also as Spring Festival, include setting off fireworks to ward off evil spirits as well as elaborate get-togethers with families and friends.

As the years before, Sutera Harbour Resort rings in the Year of the Metal Rat with propitious lion dance performance and guests as well as members of the public are more than welcome to witness this spectacular martial-art-choreographed dances across our Resort.
